ISLANDS OFF SPAIN, Ebusus. Late 2nd-early 1st centuries BC. Semis (Bronze, 22 mm, 6.40 g, 9 h). Bes standing facing, holding mace in his right hand and serpent in his left; in field to left, Punic letter 'aleph'. Rev. Punic 'YBSM above mark of value and Punic 50. ACIP 758. Lindgren II, 1, 19 (this coin). SNG BM Spain 340-4. SNG Copenhagen 95-6. Beautiful brown and green patina and with a fine pedigree. Minor deposits, otherwise, very fine.
